I am Sharonda Phelps, a professional science educator and instructional leader. I am a dedicated educator and instructional leader serving in the field of education since 2012. Currently, I am a second-year doctoral student, and I serve as the Science Department Leader at Sidney Lanier High School in Montgomery, AL.

My professional ambition is to use the tremendous professional development and growth I acquired from my Master's and Doctoral courses, experiences, and mentor coaching to engage stakeholders in order to establish an atmosphere of collaboration, high academic achievement, and community building. My experience as an instructional leader, academic coach, and department head has shaped my knowledge of how to construct a leadership team with diverse viewpoints, as well as, how to engage community stakeholders in a number of ways.Â
